An annual grants scheme that sees over 110,000 given to community projects across Essex and Suffolk has opened for applications. Communities are invited to apply for grants that are available across two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) six different grant funds in total – in the Coast & Heaths AONB and the Dedham Vale AONB & Stour Valley.
Elves, Elsa and an evil ice queen welcomed special guests at a spectacular Christmas trail in Woodbridge. Fresh Air Events, the team behind the Christmas on the Hills event in Woodbridge, greeted 35 families and staff from East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). They were met by a magician, a naughty Grinch, reindeer, and Father Christmas himself before exploring a tunnel of lights, a candy cane walk and an elf workshop and toasting marshmallows by Santa’s sleigh.
