February Edition
A beautiful new panel being added to ‘The King’s River’ Tapestry at the Longshed, which tells the history of the Sutton Hoo Burial ship. This textile art is produced by local people. Why not go along and take a look and witness the work going on to reconstruct the Burial Ship currently being undertaken by the Sutton Hoo Ship’s Company? You will receive a warm welcome.
I hope you all enjoyed the Christmas events kindly provided by Woodbridge Historic Riverside Group’s ‘Christmas Gingerbread Village’ and of course Rotary made sure Santa visited as many areas as possible to delight local children. Well done to all the volunteers who make these lovely family events possible. You do a great job!
This is the final edition of the Woodbridge Talk for 2024 and, as always, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the contributors who take the time to send me news and photos to share with our readers. One thing I have learnt whilst editing our six titles is that there are many unsung heroes who do so much for our communities and bring people together, without expecting anything in return.
