2000 of these magazines are printed per month. 1500 are delivered door to door and the remaining 500 are distributed between outlets, eateries and local businesses.
Good to see Southwold RNLI volunteers recognised for their service by being presenting with King’s Coronation medals prior to partaking in the Remembrance Parade. The RNLI does such a wonderful job throughout the country, saving lives and volunteers who go to sea, fundraise, serve on committees etc. are all essential to keep this invaluable service going. Well done to all!
This is the final edition of the Southwold Organ for 2024 and, as always, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the contributors who take the time to send me news and photos to share with our readers. One thing I have learnt whilst editing our six titles is that there are many unsung heroes who do so much for our communities and bring people together, without expecting anything in return.
Congratulations to Southwold Town Council who received the ‘Suffolk Council of the Year’ award at the recent Suffolk Community Awards Ceremony, in recognition of their dedication to delivering new initiatives to their residents and visitors with inspiring projects. Many individuals, groups and organisations do so much for our communities so it is good to see them recognised.
