November Edition

Congratulations to Southwold Town Council who received the ‘Suffolk Council of the Year’ award at the recent Suffolk Community Awards Ceremony, in recognition of their dedication to delivering new initiatives to their residents and visitors with inspiring projects. Many individuals, groups and organisations do so much for our communities so it is good to see them recognised.

October Edition

Some very community-minded citizens have been smartening up the town, tidying up paths, clearing pavements, and will be painting railings soon, and the council is organising a clean-up morning in October so if you would like to get involved to get in touch with them. Well done to all for taking time out to benefit all in Southwold and Reydon.

September Edition

Until I started editing our six titles I don’t think I realised how many local people volunteer within the community and run local organisations, doing so much for their communities. If this sounds like something you would be interested in and you have a few hours to spare I’m sure they would be very grateful for your help and input – (an opportunity to make new friends and socialise also). The Southwold & Reydon Society welcome new members, which boosts their lobbying power and Blyth Valley Rotary have attracted new members but would welcome more and ‘needs a shakeup and a makeover’ says outgoing President, Dr Cathy Ryan. Maybe you could bring some fresh ideas?
