2000 of these magazines are printed per month. 1500 are delivered door to door and the remaining 500 are distributed between outlets, eateries and local businesses.

Thanks to grants from the Town council, various councillors and donations from private individuals, Opera comes to Woodbridge! ‘The Bat’ takes place at Elmhurst Park – why not get a ticket (which are free) to this community outdoor event before nights draw in and the weather takes a turn for the worse? And music makes a welcome return to Woodbridge Library after two years with Harpist Zoe Anderton making an appearance on 20th September – also free of charge!
The Royal British Legion celebrate their centenary in August and to mark the occasion the Woodbridge branch are holding a fete on Kingston Fields on 27th August. Vital funds raised through the annual Poppy appeal go towards campaigning for issues that matter most to the Armed Forces, and supporting ex-servicemen and women, so be sure to go along and support them. See page 9 for more details.
Spring and summer, the sound of birdsong and blossoming flowers brings to the fore all things wild and natural and green areas, and our gardens, are so beneficial to our mental health, so – you are invited to get involved! Transition Woodbridge need more gardens, part gardens or courtyards to give over to wildlife as part of the ‘Local Wildlife Corridors’ project. See page 5 for more information and on page 22 there is another opportunity to help wildlife by acquiring a free hedgehog home!
