Several local organisations have recently benefitted from the Sizewell C Community Fund – ABC Radio, Alde Valley Suffolk Family History Group, Leiston Book Festival, Leiston-cum- Sizewell Town Council, The Long Shop Museum and Suffolk Football Association. All will benefit our community and maybe go some way to easing the pain of waiting at traffic lights?
Leiston Book Festival returns in September, building on the success of the inaugural festival last year so get your tickets now. Leiston Film theatre will host six well known authors who write about nature and the environment. You will receive a warm welcome I’m sure.
Please get in touch if you have anything to share with our readers or if you have an event coming up why not consider increasing your footfall by placing an advert in the Tide Collection? We know from the feedback we receive that people really engage with our publications and seek them out.
We are very pleased to welcome a new regular columnist this month – BrIan from Melton has decided to honour us with his words of wisdom on life as he sees it. Enjoy this legend’s ‘Suffolk’ take on the world!
Thank you to Caroline Tillett for our lovely cover photo this month.
