Summer is drawing to a close but there are still events to enjoy in Woodbridge and the surrounding area. A free Food Festival takes place on 20th September at the Community Hall and Bentwaters Cold War Museum are holding another, ever-popular, ‘Special Ops Day’ – a step back in time to the Cold War! Also, as part of Heritage Open Days (HODS) there will be a Riverside Walk – this year’s theme is ‘Architecture’. Details of more events within these pages, something for everyone I’m sure. Our cover photo, of a meadow brown butterfly was taken in Wheatacre, Norfolk by the very talented Caroline Tillett.
Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music 2025 brings British soul music, funk, punk legends and jazz, rock and art events to Woodbridge this monthm, including the ‘Super Fly’ project which explores the part US air force bases played in the development of UK music from the late 1950s to the 1990s. An interesting and entertaining weekend I’m sure, enjoy!
