Woodbridge & Waldringfield Boatyards have been shortlisted in the international Classic Boat Awards in the ‘Yards & Harbours’ category which covers customer service, sustainability, the environment and promoting skills and learning. What an achievement! If you would like to help them along then please go to page 7 and cast your vote to see them on their way to receiving this prestigious award for Woodbridge. I wish them success!
The Suffolk Singers should lift the January blues with a concert in Woodbridge this month. The event will raise funds for FIND (Families in Need), a local organisation. This time of year must be very challenging for low income families with all the pressures of the festive season so I’m sure the money raised will be put to very good use. The Singers will be joined by the West Tones, a delightful ensemble of singers from Woodbridge School.
Another award nomination for Farlingaye School who seem to excel in musical theatre. These productions must be a great opportunity for pupils showcase their talents, be it at front of stage or behind the scenes and with this performance they tackled some difficult themes. Well done to all involved!
