The first two months of Leiston’s 2020-21 season have been a classic example of the curate’s egg with what was arguably the second best FA Cup campaign in the club’s history running alongside another disappointing beginning to the League programme. Last year an opening day draw was followed by a morale-sapping run of ten defeats and it was game thirteen before they registered their first League win.
