East Anglian artists back campaign to challenge UK Government plans to land offshore wind farm energy on unspoilt countryside in coastal Suffolk 

A pop-up exhibition, The Bigger Picture, supported by locally-based artists in Suffolk was open to the public on Saturday, 12 September, at Gallery 152, at 152 Aldeburgh High Street, IP15 5AQ.

The team at Suffolk’s oldest cinema have been left disappointed that they are unable to benefit from the recently announced 1.57 billion support package for the arts, culture and heritage sector, due to the fact that the venue is owned and operated by a precepting authority. 

In response and to help the venue through these difficult times of recovery, Film Theatre management have launched a number of fund-raising initiatives, including a crowd funding page, which raised £1,650 in its first 24 hours, with a current total of & replace with £3,995 (at time of going to print)
